We are thankful for the generous support provided in 2016-17 by the people listed below. The varieties that they have adopted along with their details are given. The support provided would go a long way towards contributing to the Food security of our Nation.

Turbo Energy Pvt. Ltd. has adopted 10 varieties and have contributed towards conserving them in two places namely, Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram district and Agani, Sirkazhi in Nagapattinam district. The following varieties are adopted by them.

Ms. Vena Kapoor has adopted the variety Seeraga Samba and has contributed towards conserving it in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.  

Ms. Vena Kapoor is a Researcher with Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF) working in the area of Conservation Research and Practice.  

The Alangadu family members have adopted the variety Neelam Samba in two places namely, Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram district and Agani, Sirkazhi in Nagapattinam district.

Mr. Anand Krishnamurthy has adopted the variety Vaigunda and has contributed towards conserving it in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

Dr. T.S. Balganesh has adopted the variety Mappillai Samba and has contributed towards conserving it in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

Dr. Meenakshi Balganesh has adopted the variety Navara and has contributed towards conserving it in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

She has adopted the variety Vellai Poonkar and has contributed towards conserving in two places namely, Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram district and Agani, Sirkazhi in Nagapattinam district.

 

She dedicates this act to the fond memory of her paternal grandmother Smt. Balambal Venkataraman, who showered the same extent of loving care on trees and plants  as she bestowed on her own children.

He has adopted three varieties of rice namely, Kadaikazhuthan, Kaivari Samba and Kalanamak and has contributed towards conserving them in two places namely, Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram district and Agani, Sirkazhi in Nagapattinam district.

 

Ms. Anindita Basu has adopted the variety Pisini and has contributed towards conserving it in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.  

Ms. Anindita Basu dedicates this act to all of the farmers and scientists working towards sustainable agriculture. She is a technial writer from Allahabad and actually prefers roti to rice

Ms. Akhila R.S has contributed to conserve the variety of Kattuyanam in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

She is a litigating Lawyer in Madras High Court.  

Ms. B. Poongkhulali has contributed towards conserving the variety of Kudaivazhai in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

She is a litigating Lawyer appearing in the various courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 

Ms. Kamini Sundaram has contributed towards conserving the variety of Kouni Nel in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

She is a Montessori Educationist based out of Chennai. 

Songlines Abacus Farm School has adopted the variety of Kullakar in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

It is an extension of Abacus Montessori School, Chennai.

Mr. Andiappan Eswaramoorthy has contributed towards conserving the variety of Kaliyan Samba in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.

He is a Sailor. 

Ms. Chithra A.V has contributed towards conserving the variety of Kuzhiyadichan in Sukkankollai in Kancheepuram District.  She dedicates this to memory of her late father A.G.Venkataraman.
