This variety is highly suitable for mountainous regions.
The grains of this variety are very small and round. It is ideal for making South Indian meals.
It is normally cultivated during Navarai. (December 15th to March 14th).
Sandy clay and Alluvial soil are preferred for cultivating this variety.
It grows upto a height of 120.2 cms.
Colour and Quality
The colour of the rice is white and it has fine rice quality.
